I am so happy to have you visit my
“Witness for Jesus” web page!  You may
be someone that I have chatted with online
or perhaps met in person or maybe you
have stumbled onto this page; In any case I
warmly welcome you!

I am a "young" senior man, living in the
beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
Some time ago, after wandering in a bitter
and dark life I accepted Jesus Christ as my
Lord and Savior. For me that was a
beautiful and earthshaking miracle, a
personal miracle!  No, it was not like a bolt
of lightening hit me, nor did an angel visit
me but rather it was actually a long process
of self discovery and empowerment.

I want this website to serve as my personal
witness to Jesus and here I hope that I can
spread the Good News about my Savior.
There may be some of you who are
experiencing the same feelings I did during
my spiritual evolution.  Please write to me
and share that experience with me and I will
give you encouragement and support all
the way. Perhaps there are some of you
who are non believers but feel something is
wrong in your life.  Do you think that maybe
deep down inside your heart there is a
need for Jesus to enter your life? Talk to
me and I can testify how accepting the Lord
will make a profound difference in your life.
I promise  you, that no matter what your
situation or current beliefs are, I will never
judge you.  I will only share with you my
own personal witness and how that has
made a difference in my life.

Over the course of time I will be adding
more of my own personal witness and also
links to other resources and information
which may help you on your journey in
bringing Jesus Christ into your life.

I see things in a different way now and
enjoy life more than ever with great
contentment.

Tell Satan to go take a hike and let me give
you the good news about being a good
Christian man or woman!

Praise Jesus!
Counter
I would love to hear from you.  I
am always interested in your
comments and feedback.

Let me pray for you; remember
Jesus Saves and he can save YOU
!

God Bless

Creation Science Evangelism: Dispelling
the Myth of Evolution

Dr. Kent Hovind's Site.  Very, very good,
fact-filled, humorous
presentation. Dr. Hovind completely
demolishes the myth of evolution. His
itinerary is on his site.
I pray that I may be a better Christian man; to continue my evangelism for
the Lord, to work hard and to reach others so they may be saved by Jesus
Christ.

I pray that other Christians will make a more vigilant effort to also bring
Christ into the lives of
others. This is no time for other Christians to remain silent or be shy about
spreading the news that salvation can only come about by accepting Jesus
Christ. Be prepared to tell others about Jesus and how they can be saved.
Carry your Holy Bible with you and bring Christian Tracts along with you
wherever you go.

I pray for those folks who have lost their employment.  To give them strength
to persevere and
to seek God’s help and guidance in their job search. I pray that during their
time of unemployment they may be able to sustain themselves and their
families.  I pray that others may help them through these difficult times.  Be
mindful of your blessings and what you have and do not hesitate to help
others who are less fortunate than you.

I pray that the hungry are less hungry this year. If you are employed or have
the means, this is no time to forget these unfortunate people.  Search out a
local food bank and give as generously as you can. Whenever I go grocery
shopping, I ‘tax’ myself and purchase items for the food bank.  I keep brown
paper grocery bags in a corner of my kitchen and after just a few weeks it is
amazing the amount of food I have. Perhaps your church has a food bank or
some other local organization does.

I pray that Moms and Dads will make their homes a better Christian home for
their children. For the most part, turn off the TV or better yet get rid of cable.
Avoid profound language and get rid of the beer, wine and liquor. Try to
enjoy evening meals together and if that seems impossible due to hectic
schedules then examine the activities you or your children are involved in.
Praying together before dinner and after dinner, reading scripture and
discussing Christ may prove to be far more fruitful than soccer or social
clubs. Christ comes first!  Your children will follow your example!

I pray that we do not forget the lonely, the elderly and the sick.  Let’s walk
the same walk as the Lord and when we see others less fortunate us do not
ignore them but engage them, if only for a few minutes.  A smile and kind
words can make a big difference in someone’s day.

I pray for all the men and women who are serving their country here and
abroad that God will keep them safe and without harm. I pray that the Lord
will give them strength and wisdom with each passing day.

I pray for our new President Elect, Barrack Obama. May the Lord give him
strength and wisdom to guide this nation through what appears to be some
bleak very difficult times. I praise Obama in his selecting Pastor Rick Warren
to deliver the invocation at his inauguration.    Even though Pastor Warren is
a bit more moderate to my liking, Obama’s decision here is not exclusive as
some may have predicted.

I pray and may we all pray against the evil forces of Satan in the nation and
around the world.  Satan’s presence is everywhere and it is up to us with the
help and guidance of the Lord to battle this presence.

I pray that the folks of this nation keep Christ in their lives daily and not just
at times such as Christmas or Easter. It seems that once the Christmas trees
come down or the Easter flowers wilt, Christ is tucked away until another
holiday comes around. For me, every single day of the year is Christ’s Day.
I read scripture daily; Morning, noon and night and always carry with me my
King James Holy Bible.

I pray that this coming year of 2009 brings you closer to God, and may you
have his blessings throughout everyday of the year.
